Abortion

Abortion is one of the stronger arguments between the people of our society. The greatest subtopic to abortion that people debate upon is: the exact time that the fetus transforms into an actual human. The fetus is always a human baby. Killing an unborn child is the same concept as murdering a born child. Sane people just don’t kill other humans. Abortion only puts negative effects on the society we live in today.

Abortion can occur only in the first 21 weeks of a woman’s pregnancy. The truth that not many women know is that this is actual murder. From the time you conceive the child, to the time you find out you are pregnant, the baby is already developing. The women of our society are not taught the truth about having an abortion. If they were just shown what the baby looks like when they have the abortion, they would most likely change their minds on the spot. It’s a mother’s instinct. Using the movie “Juno” as a reference, the baby already has fingernails. If that doesn’t change your mind about abortion, then I don’t know what will.

Abortion demeans the value of life. The right to have an abortion goes against the right of every man having the ability and right to live. Yes, the baby doesn’t have the capability to say if he/she would like to live. Just think of it this way: when you have a child, you make the decisions for them when they aren’t able to make them for themselves. You wouldn’t tell a child that they can’t live, or that they don’t want to live, so why would you do that to an unborn child. No matter what, it is still a child, whether it’s in a belly or in your arms.

Not only does it take the human right away, but it also devalues women, sex and the child. At school they teach you that sex is very powerful and meaningful. Giving us the choice to kill a baby only takes away the power and true meaning of what it is to share intimacy and create a beautiful child. Sex should only be shared between two married people to create the most precious gift, a human child. Killing that child is the most selfish act a woman could make. Most abortions occur because the mother isn’t ready for a child. That certainly doesn’t mean she wasn’t ready to create one. They are ready to spread their legs, but not to deal with the consequences. The baby is the most precious gift one could ever receive. Abortion is the most selfish act one can make to ruin this powerful creation.

There are many women out there that would love to carry a child, yet their bodies can’t handle the stress. The women that don’t wish to have a child could share their sympathy for the other women who do, and give their baby to a loving family. Put the child up for adoption and find someone to love and cherish them. Don’t be a selfish murder. Abortion is an evil act to demean life, devalue women, devalue babies and devalue sex. There is always another solution and way out.
