Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death

Patrick Henry (an American colonist) Wrote this Document to the President of the Colonies of America. He wrote very passionately the truth that many of the Americans weren't seeing. The Americans were trying not to see what was really happening. The British were sending their armies over and it wasn't to "win back their love." They were planning to attack. They need to fight back because words weren't helping. The British disregarded the words they said to them. The only solution is to fight. The British said that the Americans were weak, but when are they going to become strong. When they are under attack? That is to late. The only way to make peace is to fight. This is what Patrick is trying to persuade the Colonists of America to do. They need to fight.
