Circular Letter of the Boston Committee of Correspondence; May 13, 1774

Who is writing?
~Samuel Adams, as stated in the fine print on the bottom of the page. "the writings of Samuel Adams"

Who is the audience?
~Trading companies of the colonies in the Americas.

Who do the writers represent?
~The Boston Committee and trade company

What is being said, argued and/or requested?
~The British are closing The Boston Harbor trading port until Boston "makes restitution to the East India Company for the loss of their tea." The Boston Committee is arguing that this situation is unjust, and they are requesting that the other colonies stand as one with them against the British by suspending their trade with Great Britain at least.

How is it being said, argued and/or requested?
~They are kind of in shock of their new discovery of an Act of the British Parliament against them, and they are acting quickly so they can be in an offensive position.

What proof and/or justification is being used to legitimize the request?
~ Boston described the sufferings that will happen to them and eventually to all the colonies.
